Kaitlin and Maverick - Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception

Kaitlin and Maverick were married in arguably the most beautiful Catholic Church in Colorado: the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception located on Colfax Avenue in Denver. The Cathedral offers a stunning backdrop for a wedding with the traditional, old-world, Gothic architecture. It's hard not to get a great shot in this venue!

The reception was held in the nearby Warwick Hotel, so with time in between the ceremony and reception, we took the couple throughout downtown Denver to capture some classic Denver scenes. Union Station was our first stop.

The Millennium Bridge and Commons Park offered a leafy respite to the midday June heat and a change of scenery from the cityscape.

Kaitlin and Maverick were a pleasure to work with, and the fact that they currently live the same small town as my grandmother in Florida, which I have very fond memories of, will forever make this wedding a noteworthy event.

All the best to a lifetime together! Salute!
