Liv & Chris - Denver Art Museum Wedding

Liv and Chris got married last month at the Denver Art Museum. As students of modern architecture and fans of Architect Daniel Libeskind, this was certainly a fitting venue.

We strolled across the street to Civic Center Park to take all the wedding party and bride and groom pictures. The flower beds were in full bloom and we were able to take advantage of the shady trees throughout the grounds.

Liv and Chris's ceremony took place in the atrium of the new Frederic C. Hamilton building. To Liv, the museum's atrium resembled that of a modern cathedral.

The lines, levels, and angles of that space are always fun to work with. The artificial light can be tricky, but I was able to use it to cast a shadow of a post-ceremony kiss in the image below.

We took family portraits just outside of the museum entrance during sunset and the lighting was just perfect. I snapped the image below in between groupings. The panoramic of the DAM complex at the beginning of this blog post was taken just after sunset.

Liv and Chris were fantastic to work with and I wish them both all the best in a lifetime together. Cheers!
